Founder Laura Dodde has been building businesses since her early twenties. She owned commercial property before she owned a home and built her career across operations, finance, marketing, and advertising. Throughout every stage, she focused on what drives long-term success: disciplined operations supported by strong financial leadership.
In 2017, Laura moved to Paraguay to deepen her consulting work and immerse herself in a new culture. There, she partnered with an organization that scaled more than 500 percent in four and a half years. Growth came through corporate collaboration, technology expansion, and infrastructure development under pressure. That experience reinforced a core belief that still guides Abound today. Growth is not accidental. It is structured, measured, and led with clarity.
After returning to the United States, Laura formally launched Abound in 2024 to provide fractional CXO leadership and strategic financial oversight to growth-minded businesses.
In June 2025, Karen Crowe joined Abound as Partner, expanding the firm’s operational depth and leadership capacity. Karen focuses on operational strategy, scalable systems, and translating financial insight into clear action. She works closely with owners and leadership teams to align operations with financial goals, strengthen accountability, and build structures that support consistent execution.
A key part of Karen’s work is leadership development. She strengthens managers and supervisors by clarifying expectations, establishing decision frameworks, and building confidence in day-to-day leadership. Strong teams are not accidental. They are developed through structure, accountability, and consistent support.
